is it possible to rip content recorded to the bt vision box by putting the hdd into a pc or is it super encrypted?

i just canceled my subscription now the box is useless as i can't record or see any recordings, its basically just and only a freeview box.

Does anyone in the uk unlock the boxes?

You're lucky you can even use it as a freeview box.. most of them just show an error C03 or C01 and thats it!
