Title: Firmware arcor ip100
Post by: ludovicobranca on 26. Mar 2010, 08:53
Hello everyone, I'm Italian owner of a Pirelli hy100 modded thanks to your work and the work of roleo and all participants in the forum puntotecnico.
I'd like to investigate the differences between the firmwares telecom and Arcor, but I was not able to find the file "Release_FW_1.7.12.zip"  mentioned in your wiki  firmware or a later version.
Does anyone have it yet and can share? thanks in advance!

the german arcor boxes have a very outdated firmware. the newest that I have is 1.2.20 ... if you saw 1.7.12 mentioned somewhere then it was the italien firmware used on the arcor box.

I am following the work on the Italian forum and, in particular, what have done q2sire and lulu99it on fw Telsey.
In particular I would be interested to find a fw hy100 based on opera browser.
If i'd get it, i would certainly adapt the fw Telsey to hy100.
The arcor fw is opera based ?

The telsey fs6 (http://www.telsey.com/upload/data_sheet/E0036_Hybrid%20IP%20STB%20FS6.pdf) uses opera browser and also, perharps in the initial development step, the pirelli hy100 was opera based (http://www.pirellibroadband.com/en_IT/browser/attachments/pdf/HY100.pdf).
