Yes - ideally, I'd like to exploit it's HDMI / Optical-out and potential media sharing capabilities.
Is hacking it so that initialises without connecting to the BT Vision server out of the question?

Another Brit here. I've been eyeing up a BT Vision box as a replacement for my mythbox which keeps screwing
up so it's no longer "girlfriend approved".
I'm not a member of BT, so the box apparently won't work unless it's connected via BT Broadband. Is there a way
using the modding described in the wiki for the x300t to bypass that check?
