Hello everyone

Sorry about my English, I'm Spanish and I'm some basic knowledge of the language.

I've been looking for information on the X300T because I have one from a company that used it here in Spain, but has stopped giving IP TV service but customers keep the old box.

The box I have is the X300T but from what I have seen in these pages is a bit different from yours:

* It has no hard drive  :'(
* Only has one tuner for DVB-T  :-\
* The exterior is identical but in black color  :)
* Model: KMM3100-ES

Mine in particular also has problems at the power source, but I think I can fix this.

I want to use it to see DVB-T, so I would like to know:

Could be activated DVB-T?
Is any way to use the USB for external drives?
Can I add a internal hard drive?
Is this enough to connect a hard drive new, or would need something else, an image of the hard disk of another box for example?
If this isn't possible, can I do anything with the deco?

I have knowledge of electronica and I would like to experiment.

If you need some extra info or images, ask for it.

Thanks.

Hola Pepi.

Hello,

I have one spanish x300t, with hard disk and two tuners, i have the photos if you want me to upload. The model is KM3210-ES, the rev is 0D and the manufacturement date is 03/2007. The SMP is Rev B. This combination is not in the table of versions in the wiki, but i suppose that jtag doesn't work. I have been reading the german post but with a translator, so i'm sure that i've missed many things. I have two questions, it's possible to enable jtag using the pads in the SMP? And another question, it's possible to change the flash with the iptv bootloader on the other with more memory storing, for example, the popconr hour firmware?

Thanks.

enabling the jtag should be possible with all SMP revisions.

the flash chip can be exchanged for a larger one... I think the layout allows a 64MB chip if I remember correct.
however, using a popcorn hour firmware does not work, because the SMP only boots when the bootloader signature is correct for the certificate installed in the SMP.

it is possible to boot the popcorn firmware with JTAG, but there is still one problem: the DSP firmware for the audio/video decoding cannot be loaded for unknown reasons. so the linux works, but the media application does not work.

Thank you for your answer! I will try to enable the jtag then. Thanks again.
