X300(1)T running stuff

hey there..

this is my first post.. call me noob if u want but i read something that it is posoble to run other software on BT Vision id like to know if it is possible to run programs in a X300/1T or if there is anyway to do something more in it like play music or watch network folder to play music/movies.. and how to do it?

Well i would recomend reading the WIKI and a few threads round here they will tell you pretty much what you need to get you started.

if you wanted to run other apps on there and have a mini media center then you would need to find a way of getting the MS IPTV system working on there or code your own in .NET


I sugest you have a topic about 3 threads down written by IS0-Mick he has written a FAQ/howto guide that is very useful for a noob (yes i am one aswel)  the Guide will give you info on how to install the modchip to get it to run unsigned code and also what some of the files on the HDD do an dhow to mod them.
