Da unser Linux 2.6 annähernd läuft hab ich mal nen bisschen gegoogelt und bin dabei auf die Firma Sentivision gestoßen, die bieten ein SDK an.

Using the Sentivision Media Platform SDK you can build fast and appealing GUIs for digital media devices. Applications built using SMP can make use of a smart graphics rendering and motion effect engine and a feature rich media player.

Features

    * Display Resolution: SDTV (480i, 576i) and HDTV (720p, 1080i)
    * Multiple audio and video codec support
    * Trick-play modes, Playlists, Slideshows (Audio / Video / Images)
    * Streaming, Download and Local file playback
    * Input controller (Remote Controls, Gamepads)
    * Contains: C libraries, sample applications, toolchain (including cross-compiler), drivers, sample applications (incl. source code), Linux filesystem for embedded devices and more.

sieht schon interessant aus, aber das wirds ganz sicher nicht "for free" geben

abgesehen davon wird diese middleware auch darauf aufbauen dass man funktionierende uCodes von SigmaDesigns hat.... was bei uns bisher nicht der Fall ist.
