I only have a mobile broadband dongle is there any way i can connect the the box to this so i can update the software on the hdd as the box has never been used before any Thanks

It might be possible to share your dongle connection with the box using a network hub and Internet Connection sharing
turned on on your PC. You can also buy a router designed for sharing Mobile Broadband connections.
